Thank you so much for all the purrs and prayers for our little hansel. It means the world to us- and we truly believe that with everyone in the cb - it's how we got through all of this. We don't know what we'd do without everyone! Hansel is doing very well - walking around, but we did have to put his cone on- as he thinks he should eat his sutures. He is eating, taking meds, drinking, using the litter box, everything is fantastic!
Just thinking about you this evening... saw one of your comments on a post from 2007, and dropped in. Hope you are starting to feel better after losing your grandmaw bean, but we know it can take awhile.
purrrrrrrrrs that is very cool! i love my mancat time with daddy. looks like you do too. we hope all is well with you. we haven't been able to visit friends as much as we want cause of the blurpy baby boy, but we miss you.
We heard your folks aren't doing so well. We just went to send you kitties and your beans some purrs and hugs of support and let you know you are in our purrayers.
I'm very sorry to have sounded so brash and insensitive in my comment over at Jan's Funny Farm earlier this week. I hadn't kept up with the CB much lately, due to the Mum moving my entire universe from one side of town to the other. I went over to Jan's blog this morning to see if there was an update on ya'll and read the comments following mine. I quickly realized there were Not Very Good Things happening in your part of the world and that my "Life happens" comment was just plain wrong-sounding. Please accept my abject apologies and know that I deleted that Very Bad Comment and replaced it with this:
"Well, I am stupid. I checked back in to see if there was an update on Dr. Tweety and the Fab Five, and read through all the comments following mine and realized how terribly insensitive I sounded. I hadn't read all of what's been happening over at their place and now that I know, I just want to apologize. To all of you, my friends, many mea culpas. And to Dr. Tweets and my beeyootiful Delilah..well, I'm on my way over there now to extend my apologies and purrs in purrrrson. I love you all! "
I do, indeed, care very much for you all and extend to your dear mom and Dadee my bestest of purrs and gentlest of head-bonkies. Please tell the Dadee that even tho' I may glow in the dark, I shall teleport over and lay stretched out upon him with my Big Ol' Wonky Toes resting gently on his chin and keep him company while he rests after treatment.
'Lilah, Darlin', I send you several very sweet nothin's whispered into your delicate shell-like ear at the risin' of the moon tonight.
I like to rest with my Dad, too. It's a "guy thing".
