Hello every cat!!!
I want to thank each and every one who stopped by to give me advice about my upcoming surgery.
I am doing very well and have lost a whole pound!
But as you can see, Uncle Maxi is waiting for me to come out and play, and Mommy is being very cautious about my outside activities, since my knee is very unstable.
I feel less afraid after reading all of your comments... and I am sure things will go well. It looks as if I will go to surgery at the end of the month.
In the meantime, Mommy has done something reprehensible!
She purchased something off of the Internet and she says it is a "special house," just for me.
Does she think I am that naive?
I got a hold of Mommy's Photoshop to show you what I will be "housed" in following my surgery!!!
(I'm not very good with PS, but it will give you the general idea.)

What I want to know is, is this legal?
I overheard her say to Daddy that when a surgery costs $1600.00, she doesn't want me to wreck my knee because they didn't do everything to protect me afterwords.
Huh! Is money the issue here?!
What about my right to roam... my free spirit?
What do you cats think?
PS: I also heard Mommy say that we will try and get to every cat that sent us purrs, but it may take her awhile.
She and Daddy are working hard to pay for my surgery.
Some excuse Mommy!

That looks like a very good cage....er, kitty suite, to recover in, Delilah. Okay, but nothing is going to make spending 8 weeks confined any better. It'll be tough all round, but it's for your Highest Good and think how great it will be afterward, when you are healed and moving normally again.
Lots of continued purrs and healing Light from the Fuzzy Tales crew!
Hey, Delilah, glad you're not afraid of the surgery any more. It's the post surgery that scares you now. We know it won't be fun to be locked up after your surgery but you need to give your knee a chance to heal. Or your Uncle Maxie will have to return to smuggling nip to pay your vet bills.
Well us cats thinks it is criminal but our Mommy thinks it is a good idea. Scylla & Charybdis were put in something similar at night when they first came to live with us.
Nice suite you have... We will be purring hard when you have to have it.
Why don't you come stay with us after your surgery instead, Delilah. The humans won't notice. If they notice anything at all they'll wonder why Gree is acting different, yall look so much alike.
purrs,
da Mini
Dr T - I got your email. Picnic sounds great! Let's go!

Delilah you can come to the patio after your surgery and mommy and I will look after your every need. But I think your cozy little wire nest will be a delightful; place to recoup. Have your mommy put some curtains up around it for privacy until you are ready to accept visitors...or drape a sheet over it. You will like how cozy it is and it will keep you safe. We think it is a great idea.
All our love....
We are glad you are not afraid anymore. Feel better soon Delilah
Delilah, we know your surgery will go well. And as for new house, well, we think that'll it be quite the cozy place for you while your knee gets better.
I wouldn't like that new house either, but we want you to recuperate and be as good as new.
We have something like that too. Mom says it's cool because you'll be protected but still be able to be a part of what's going on in the house since you can see out of it and everyone else can see in. It beats being locked up in a room by yourself because they can move you around to be in the middle of everything. We will continue to purr for you!
I think your pen needs a fancy bed, some curtains, many toys and treats inside and it will be an acceptable recovery spa.
Delilah
Tell your Mommy she needs to decorate your "suite" to the tip top style a lady kitty of your stature deserves! She is looking out for your safety and health, she wants you to be just like you were before the injury. Just think of this as a time to reflect and lay back and let efurryone wait hand and paw on you!

Delilah, all your friends will keep you company after your surgery. That way you will not feel too confined :)
BIG purrs to you!!!
Oh lovely Delilah! You have to think about that cage thing as a fine and swanky, exclusive & private apartment. Just for you. You will be waited on paw & paw by your Mum & Dad, no having to wander around yeowling for fuuds, the fuuds will come to you!. Humans will be lying on the floor next to you, wiggling mousies for you to whap about too I bet and no other cat will be allowed entry.
We're so glad you aren't so scared about the surgery. You will be fine beautiful girl, real fine.

Hi Dr Tweety and da Fab Five,
I heard you haven't been feeling so well and I have been meaning to stop by and send some head butts and well wishes your way... please let me know if there is anything we can do for ya...
Love always,
Moki and the gang!
Oh Delilah! We are sorry to read of your hurt leg, and your impending surgery. We know you are a tough ladycat and will be able to handle it all, but we will be purring for you all the same.
Well it could use a few fancy pillows and a couch
And some adorable polkadottie curtains
Then I think it will be bonk perfect for you
I think your mom and dad love you so much to protect you in that fancy suite
Bonk
Hi Delilah - that actually looks like a pretty nice kitty suite. We all wish we had our own suite like that sometimes!
We are still sending you lots of purrs and prayers to feel better - we hope you are very soon!
Deliah,
We thinks your beans are doing whats best for you. Take it from me, it's hard to roam with a bum leg. Once you get over the scary operations stuff you'll be fixed up as good as new, and your beans want to ensure that you stay that way for years to comes so that, despite your temporary roaming restriction, there will be years of roaming that lie ahead in your future!
P.S.
If you needs some help at getting around after your surgery, let me know I've become quite adapt...hehe
