Thank you for helping hold the light

Thank you all for your kind words, beautiful poems, and holding the light for Auntie's passage to the Bridge. We are very sad here, even though we knew it was the right thing to do. Our hearts hurt with our empty arms. Such a tiny cat made such a huge impression on our spirits and in our family. Thanks so much to the CB and to Dr Tweety's friends across the US and halfway across the globe for your various tributes to this amazing cat. We will visit when the worst of our sorrow has quieted to the soft spots we reserve for the ones who came before.

Poem For Cats

And God asked the feline spirit
Are you ready to come home?
Oh, yes, quite so, replied the precious soul
And, as a cat, you know I am most able
To decide anything for myself.

Are you coming then? asked God.
Soon, replied the whiskered angel
But I must come slowly
For my human friends are troubled
For you see, they need me, quite certainly.

But don't they understand? asked God
That you'll never leave them?
That your souls are intertwined. For all eternity?
That nothing is created or destroyed?
It just is....forever and ever and ever.

Eventually they will understand,
Replied the glorious cat
For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them
I just am....forever and ever and ever.

I'm so sorry to hear about Auntie Stinkey - as a friend of Miss Peach, I know that she meant a lot to her.

I'm sure there were many friends waiting to greet her at The Bridge and show her the way around.

My best wishes for your hearts to heal and your sad thoughts be replaced by happy memories of your girl. Tina

Auntie Stinkie was very special lady and a survivor. Bouncie especially loved her and I'm sure he was there to greet her at the Bridge.

Hugs and purrs,

Auntie Stinkie was such a delight, and now we are here holding on to the memories of a beautiful girl. We know your sorrow. Mom still thinks often of Caesar and Prinnie -- so many memories. We wish you comfort and peace this week-end.

Your kind words and love for Whicky brought us here and we are so very sorry to learn that dear Auntie Stinkie went to The Bridge. The Apes have been less than diligent in online matters lately. We are sorry we are so late. Auntie Stinkie was a beautiful original, it's been lovely to learn of how she came to be in charge of you all. Whaah whaah special girl, thank you for showing Whicky around, he couldn't have a better guide.

Love, purrs, hugs

Sorry I am so late. I am very sorry that Auntie Stinkie had to go to the Rainbow Bridge. She was a very special kitty. I just saw your comment on my Kitty Limericks blog, which I don't check much any more and came by to tell you that I am blogging at Herman's Hideaway http://karenjoscats.blogspot.com now.
