Delilah: "Huh! Mommy has slipped a cog if she wants me to work every single day in this gray gloom. Look at all of these tools. Whatever happened to fair labor practices? Do I have to call in the Cats Fairness Board?"
Dr Tweety: "Don't worry poppet, I've got it handled. It looks like da stoopid slugzez ates all da impayshunz anywayz & I canz finish dem off wit a good liftee of my tail."
Delilah: "Snakes?! Well doesn't that makes my gold eyes turn green... er, or how does that song go? Where do we find the snakes Uncle Maxi?"
Maximillian: "First we look under the rhodies, that's just the kind of habitat they like."
Delilah: "I don't know Uncle Maxi, I'm kind of feeling more in the mood for birdie feet than for snake tails."
Delilah: "I don't know Uncle Maxi, I'm kind of feeling more in the mood for birdie feet than for snake tails."
Maximillian: "Okay Missy D, you go find Iris and I'll go see where Tweet and Auntie Stinkie are hiding. We're gonna need every cat to help us if we expect to have quail for dinner."
Delilah: "Iris... IRIS!!!!!!! We need you sissie!"
Delilah: "Iris... IRIS!!!!!!! We need you sissie!"
Iris: "Goodness gracious, what a lot of noise. We're never going to catch dinner if you keep up with the non-stop yacking. Hunting requires stealth and silence."
Delilah: "Okay, but I still think we're going to have to go find Auntie Stinkie and Uncle Tweety. The quail could be hiding anywhere around here... they could be right under our noses!"
Auntie Stinkie: "I think I hear someone calling my name. Is it dinner time? Does Mommy have my eggs ready?"
Dr Tweety: "No Auntie Stinkie! Don'ts you move frum dis spot! Youz & meez are gonna justee hangz on da porchy while da rest of da kitteez runz around lookin' fur quailzez."
Auntie Stinkie: "Did you just say quail eggs? She's feeding us QUAIL eggs for supper?????!"

No sun? Would you like some of ours? We have plenty! And we know some folks in AZ that would gladly share.
So, did you have quail for dinner?
I have been waiting for summer too up her in Seattle. We had a little a couple of weeks ago. I hope that wasn't our whole summer!
We hope you found your quail. We have been having lots of sun, much more than usual, and it is hot.
There's plenty of sun in SC. You can come down here.
We think if you're gonna work in the garden, you ought to get paid!!

Lounging around sounds good to me Dr Tweety. As long as there is plenty to eat. I have stolen, er, borrowed, er got a a gift... yeah that's it... a few hams from Sanjee. Would you like to come make some ham puffs with me? Then eat them of course.

It's 90% today here.I'm gonna lay under mom's bed all day.
Wow it stinks that you haven't had any sun. We will try to send you some!! We hope that helps!
It sounds like things have gotten busy around your place - with all the work you are going to be doing (yuck!) and the fun of trying to find snakes and quails!!
Love all your pics today!! You all look so great in your garden.
Sorry about the sunlessness!
So did you catch that quail after all?
The sun is gone and the temperature has plummated. This kitty is staying right in front of the heater.
Hey Dr Tweety, would you and your fursibs like to come over? We're having ham and toona puffs, about 645 pounds of them to start.

That's such a good idea, Dr T! My SS and I would just LOVE to come to the US for summer and leave behind our little old house with no heating and 'ventilation' grills where the cold wind whistles through every night.
BRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
