Update on da greenz sit-you-nation

Dear frendzez.. I haz an update, although it iz an itty bitty update. (Da momee here will helps me to vizit & commint this comin’ weekend!!! Hooray!!!)

Here iz some pix of what da momee waz doin fur Chef Matt. (If you biggify, you mights see some pin holzez frum da beetlez. But dis waz in da beginnin’ stagez when she missed dem.)

On Saturday mornin’ she gotted up reel early & started pickin’ frum what waz leftee in da trayz. It tooks her about thee squillion hourz, but she picked & washed almostee a pound of greenz.

What saved her waz da fact dat she had planted a week apart for da past three weeks. So even though da old greenz waz toast frum da bugzez—da newer onez had not been attacked yet. She waz able to sell Chef Matt what he needed fur dis week.

Next week will be a different storee. But becuz of your good purrin’ & suggestionz (Miss Peachy sent a furry good commint abouts makin’ a screen ting), da momee iz not gonna givez up! She gotted oevfur bein’ em-barr-assed. Dis iz a furry good ting to do momee!

Da moral of dis storee? “You cannots makes your dreamz come true wit out good frendz (you!) & da abillty to get past yer own fur-less-ness.”

We are happy to hear that your Mom was able to save some of the greens.

There isn't any reason for your Mom to be embarrassed I bet every farmer has lost a crop to bugs or weather at one time or another. Especially when they are just starting out. ~S, S & C

Oh Tweety, that is good news! I certainly hope your mommy can still salvage what is left and make a go of it. Depressed and upset mommies are no fun. And your mommy has worked very, very hard to make the greens a success! I am still purring for her.

Dr. T, You are a very wise kitty. We hope your mom appreciates you. (We know she does.)

And we are so glad she was able to provide the chef with this week's greens. We've all got our appendages crossed (hard to walk, pee and poop that way, but....) that things are looking up.

We're glad your mom got over being embarrassed. You work with what you have and learn from your mistakes, as well as successes. So, we know your mom is gonna be a success!

I worked with a tough boss and I learned that going to him with a mistake was less painful if I had a plan to correct it. I hope the Chef will try you again next year, knowing that you're still learning.

Wahoo! I'm so glad that your mom was able to salvage something of her greens and that, most important of all, she's not giving up! Delilah, have you ever tasted those greens? Are they good?

Yay! WE're glad she could save some of the green. Good friends are what makes the difference. And hanging on to that dream even when it's just a tiny threat, Mom says.
Want to come over and snuggle and have something good to eat?
