Delilah & da Garlicky Bed

Mommy: "Delilah honey, aren't you going to help build the new raised bed for the garlic?"

Delilah: "Mommy! It's raining out here... and it's freezing! Are you crazy?"

Delilah: "I think I should have stayed inside with my sister Iris and snuggled on the sofa."

Mommy: But Delilah, you and Dr Tweety are our gardening cats. You have to help."

Delilah: "What exactly is that thing? A raised bed? Can I sleep in it??"

Mommy: "Delilah... you weren't paying attention. It's for garlic."

Delilah: "A bed for stinky plants?? You've got to be kidding!"

Delilah: "Well this merits further investigation... Daddy? Can I see?"

Delilah: "Wow! That's quite a contraption! You know, the more I see this bed, I think that it would make an excellent kitty-litter box for when Dr Tweety has his parties. Can we poop in this thing Daddy? Can I try it out?"

Daddy: "Now sweetie, no pooping in it. But you can get a closer look if you want."

Delilah: "I can't wait until Angus gets a load of this thing!"

Delilah: "Um... Daddy? Aren't you forgetting to do something? Isn't dirt or litter supposed to go in the bottom of this bed?"

Delilah: "Oh this is a riot... and they thought they knew how to garden? Mommy??? You better put that camera down right now and get over here and help Daddy! He's using the kitty-litter bed!"

Delilah: "I am not going to hold my breath until Spring on this one folks. If we get any stinky plants (instead of stinky poops) out of this box, it will be a major miracle."

Dr Tweety: " You see how tingszez are oevfur here. If any cat wants to help egg-nog-erate dis box, you haz my personal invite!"

PS: Da Momee iz at a 3 day meetin' fur her work.. so we cannots be bloggin' until Fry-day. See you den!

You didn't promise too much - your two really are Gardening Cats! It's a lot of work, isn't it. Thanks for the info on the Furminator. (I fear my mom is going to get one).

What raised bed for garlic???? I reckon that's a giant litter box for our next party. Right, Dr T??? Or a sand bed or rolling around. Either way we are claiming it for our entertainment.
